In the United States, a rising generation is asking what role America should play in the world: not only as the global policeman, but as a partner in building trust, opportunity, and shared civic purpose.
Across the MENA region, war, instability, and rapid geopolitical change are reshaping the future. With 60% of the region under 30, an entire generation is coming of age in a world marked by uncertainty, polarization, and competing visions: one of deeper conflict and isolation, or one of regional cooperation, dignity, and shared prosperity.
In Israel, a young generation shaped by war it's own unique question: no longer only how to survive in the region, but how to belong to it — how to build relationships with neighboring peoples and cultures while shaping a future beyond perpetual conflict.
Everywhere, extremism fills the vacuum where hope should be, and relationships across borders, faiths, and cultures remain fragile.
The Abraham Accords created a bold political framework, but the social infrastructure to sustain it barely exists. Security agreements are in place. Economic partnerships are forming. What’s missing is the human layer — the educators, youth leaders, and community builders, in the United States as much as across the region, who turn a political agreement into a lived reality.
History is clear: cold peace is fragile peace. Past agreements faltered because they relied on top-down diplomacy — the publics meant to sustain them never actually met. Without people-to-people trust, the Accords risk remaining a framework on paper — impressive, but hollow.
Billions flow into security and economic cooperation, but almost nothing into the civic and educational work that gives peace its staying power. No major organization is building this human layer as its core mission — connecting Americans, Israelis, and the wider MENA region through education, shared values, and real relationships across borders.
That is the gap the Abraham Tent was created to fill: a US–Israel–MENA ecosystem that invests in education, community leadership, re-humanization, and the next generation of regional partners.
Through the most intense pressure in a generation, something remarkable is happening: across the US–Israel–MENA triangle, people are choosing cooperation over isolation. The structures connecting the United States, Israel, and the MENA region — first and foremost the Abraham Accords — are no longer experimental. They are here to stay.
Now is the moment to back that political foundation with the human layer that turns it into lasting peace.
Geopolitical shifts are realigning the region, and interests that long pulled apart are now converging. Doors sealed for decades are opening, creating new room for cooperation.
The Abraham Accords gave the region a foundation unlike anything before. Tested by conflict, it held. Civic and educational partnerships can now be built on solid ground.
A new generation is looking for a different path. Moderate voices, tired of conflict and hungry for a better future, are being heard more and more, ready to build it if given the platforms and mentors to lead.

The Abraham Tent was founded on a simple conviction: peace in the MENA region cannot be built by governments alone.
Within a decade, we envision a relationship between the US, Israel, and the MENA region, defined by trust, stability, and shared prosperity — not hostility and constant crisis. A peace anchored in the Abraham Accords and held together not by treaties alone, but by a living fabric of relationships among people, communities, and institutions across the United States, Israel, and the MENA region.
Our mission is to connect the United States, Israel, and the MENA region through a living people-to-people network — the missing human layer that political agreements alone cannot create.
The Abraham Tent exists to help build what must come next: the civic, educational, and human infrastructure that allows peace to become a lived reality. We develop the language, tools, partnerships, and programs that help educators, youth leaders, civil society organizations, and community builders turn regional cooperation into durable trust.
Shared responsibility. Americans and the peoples of the MENA region share responsibility for their future together, and we have a real ability to shape it for the better.
A regional and global approach. Our starting point is the MENA region as a whole, not any single group within it. Where others advocate for their own cause alone, we hold a positive vision for the shared future of the US, Israel, and the MENA region, where all peoples see themselves as part of that whole, never advancing one conflict at the expense of another.
Hope through innovation. Trust in a different future creates trust in the present, letting us build on the shared foundations of the past.
Participatory regionalism. From the US to the MENA region, everyone is invited into the Tent, even when political conflicts continue outside it.
The Abrahamic ideal. Americans and the peoples of the MENA region share a common moral heritage rooted in the figure of Abraham, a practical foundation for cooperation, respect, and re-humanization across divides.
We are not duplicating existing peacebuilding work. We are building the connective infrastructure for a field that doesn’t yet exist at scale, a people-to-people ecosystem linking the United States, Israel, and the MENA region. Our partnership with WeAreMENA anchors this on the ground, a growing network of youth and young adult organizations from more than 15 MENA countries.
No one else holds all the pieces this work requires: relationships across all three sides of the triangle, American civic and philanthropic networks, deep educational expertise, and a practical toolbox for re-humanization. And we work in both directions at once — on the ground with educators, youth leaders, and community organizations, and at the level of public language and strategy that lets the whole field grow.
